Welcome to my journey. I am at a point in life where I want to be good at everything I do, but admittedly, I tend not to hold myself accountable to the learning process. In that spirit, I have decided to document my journey from the weekend hacker to scratch golfer.
Throughout this journey, I will document not only my study habits and routines, but will provide feedback and reviews on the topics that I think are at the heart of every weekend golfers experience.

– Should I get a new putter?
– If I just had that golf simulator in the garage, I could…
– Are those Pro-V 1’s helping or hurting my game?

Start point:
I currently play most weekends, my score hovers between 105 and 108 for 18 holes and I honestly don’t understand how handicaps work… I have taken a few lessons and read a few books, I will be writing some posts about those in upcoming posts. I recently undertook the amateur golfers dream of building a simulator into my garage as preparation for this project. Be on the lookout for some lessons learned, tips and tricks.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you and hearing your feedback as I work to accomplish what many of us out there only dream of on the course. Stay tuned!
